Optimile joins the DKV Mobility Group and accelerates its mission to drive an electric future

• Optimile will become part of the leading European B2B mobility platform, while retaining its brand, team, and headquarters in Ghent
• Access to DKV’s scale will enable broader European roaming, expanded technological capabilities, and an accelerated product roadmap
• Mobiflow will remain an active consumer brand for charging within Optimile

Ghent / Ratingen, 4 May 2026. Optimile NV, the Belgian software-as-a-service company specializing in EV charging platform management, today announces that it has become part of the DKV Mobility Group. DKV Mobility has acquired 100% of Optimile’s shares from previous shareholders BNP Paribas Fortis and AG Insurance, effective 30 April 2026. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in Ghent in 2016, Optimile has built a modular SaaS platform that enables e-Mobility Service Providers (eMSPs) and Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to authorize, monitor, manage, and roam across charging networks across Europe. The company also operates Mobiflow, its own consumer-facing charging and roaming brand. Optimile has established itself as a leading platform player in the Belgian e-mobility market, one of Europe’s fastest-growing.

The transaction brings concrete benefits to Optimile’s customers and ecosystem partners:

• Continuity: All existing contracts, service agreements, and platform integrations remain fully in effect.
• Expanded roaming: Access to DKV’s combined network of over 1.1 million charge points across Europe, a significant upgrade in roaming reach.
• Accelerated innovation: DKV’s investment in platform development means faster delivery of new features and capabilities.
• Local presence preserved: Optimile remains headquartered in Ghent, with its team, brand, and operational identity intact.

DKV Mobility is the leading B2B platform for on-the-road payments and solutions in Europe, serving approximately 430,000 active customers across more than 50 countries, with a network encompassing over 1.1 million EV charge points, ~74,000 conventional fuel stations, and ~25,000 alternative fuel stations. DKV Mobility’s e-mobility portfolio also includes GreenFlux and Smartlab, making Optimile a strategically coherent addition to an integrated European e-mobility stack.

The DKV Mobility Group, including Optimile, now manages approximately 1.5 million charge cards and tokens and over 260,000 charge points, 112,000 of which are publicly accessible.

Optimile continues as a separately steered entity within the DKV group, with its own board, management team, and operational autonomy. Georg Schürholz takes over as Managing Director of Optimile NV. Benoît Criel, outgoing CEO, will remain closely involved through a transition period to ensure continuity and support the handover.
